Young chess players display talent in CCF 2015

The Curacao Chess Festival kicked off on July 17th where a group of 14 youth players including 3 from Aruba took up the challenge in the youth section of the tournament. Despite the small group as other players engaged in other summer activities, there was a display of interesting games by many up and coming talents. We must say that many of these young chess talents are like diamonds in the rough who with time after been carefully carved and polished will surely shine. On Saturday 25th in the afternoon the results were made known as can be read in the summary list below. Club members Michael Yard, David Pietersz and Timothy Carolina managed to get away with prizes.
